It has been 10 years since the Digital India campaign started. To make this special occasion memorable, the Government of India has started an interesting contest called "A Decade of Digital India - Reel Contest". This competition has started from 1 July 2025 and will run till 1 August 2025.
This competition is for those people whose lives have seen a big and positive change due to Digital India. Whether it is digital education, online health services, financial transactions or digital benefits of any government scheme, if these services have made your life better, then you can share this experience through a creative reel.
The government is also giving cash prizes to the participants of this contest. Top 10 winners will get Rs 15,000. The next 25 participants will get Rs 10,000 and 50 other selected reel makers will get a cash prize of Rs 5,000.
The reel should be at least 1 minute long. The video should be completely original and should never have been posted on any platform before. You can make the video in Hindi, English or any Indian language. The reel should be in portrait mode and in MP4 format. The topic of the video should be, how did Digital India change your life?
To participate in this contest, you have to upload your reel on the official website of the government, https://www.mygov.in/task/decade-digital-india-reel-contest, here you will get the option to submit the reel and all the necessary information. The Digital India Mission, which started in 2015, has made people's lives easier by taking technology to every village.
Today, government schemes, digital health cards, Aadhaar linked services, and tools like UPI have increased both transparency and convenience in the country. Now the government wants common people to celebrate this change through their own stories. If you too have an inspirational digital India story, then do not delay, make a great reel and turn this opportunity into winning a prize for yourself.
