Ahmedabad: A massive fire broke out in Ahmedabad in a residential building in Gujarat's Ahmedabad. According to reports, the blaze erupted on the eighth floor of Purvi Tower, Block A, at Subhash Chowk in Memnagar following an explosion.
Fire tenders reached the spot, and the firefighting operation is currently underway. After receiving the information, senior officials also rushed to the place where the fire broke out.
Visuals of smoke billowing out of the building surfaced online. After the blaze, panic gripped the residents of the building.

So far, there are no reports of any injuries. The extent of collateral damage is not known.
Meanwhile, the reason for the explosion is yet to be ascertained.
