Bareily Violence: A total of 17 shops belonging to Mohammad Arif, a close associate of Maulana Tauqeer Raza, have been sealed. In the investigation into the Bareilly riots, police have filed cases against 126 named individuals.

The administration's action in the Bareilly violence case continues unabated. On Saturday, the Bareilly Development Authority (BDA) took major action against associates of Maulana Tauqeer Raza, one of the riot accused. Illegal shops and showrooms located on the Pilibhit bypass road were sealed.
It was reported that all these businesses were operating without map approval. During the administrative action, chaos prevailed in the area, causing panic among local residents. An employee of the Bareilly Development Authority told the news agency IANS that the action was taken against illegal construction and commercial establishments operating without approval.

The administration has made it clear that strict action will continue against the illegal properties of those involved in the violence and riots. In the investigation into the Bareilly riots so far, the police have filed cases against 126 named individuals, of whom 83 have been arrested.
