Daniel Munoz has revealed he's open to leaving Crystal Palace this summer despite signing a new deal with the Eagles in April. The FA Cup-winning Colombian wing-back, who has become a cult hero at Selhurst Park with his lung-busting surges up the right flank, is now under contract in south east London until June 2028.
However, speaking to media back in his homeland where he has been stepping up training for the new Premier League season with former side Atletico Nacional, Munoz has claimed he's keen on a new challenge while also reaffirming that he's still happy in Croydon.
He told Win Sports TV: "I want to play for the best teams in the world, but they haven't spoken to me directly. I dream and work every day to achieve it, and I hope it can happen as soon as possible. I hope it's in this window, but if not, I'm very happy at Crystal Palace."

After Lyon were handed a reprieve following their potential relegation to Ligue 2, there is now believed to be a high likelihood that Crystal Palace could be demoted from the Europa League to the Conference League following UEFA's extensive investigation into alleged breaches of multi-club ownership rules.
Meanwhile, Palace have already wrapped up two summer signings in the form of PSV goalkeeper Walter Benitez and Ajax left-back Borna Sosa but there has been no big-money business to date.
Furthermore, Arsenal now look poised to make a formal approach to Crystal Palace over Eberechi Eze, who has a £68million release clause, following several rounds of discussions with his representatives CAA Base.
Palace are optimistic they can fend off interest by pointing the Gunners towards the 27-year-old's buy-out clause as they have no desire to negotiate below that figure.
Arsenal's preference is to explore the possibility of landing Eze for a cheaper fee, though they're still prepared to put significant cash on the table after coughing up £52m for Chelsea winger Noni Madueke.
The England international is open to the move and Marc Guehi could also yet depart Selhurst Park before the transfer deadline as he's now into the final year of his contract.
Guehi is being eyed by Liverpool and is also of long-term admiration to Newcastle while striker Jean-Philippe Mateta is being courted by AC Milan.
Sporting CP defender Ousmane Diomande is viewed as the ideal replacement for Guehi but so far, talks with the Portuguese champions have proven complex.
Diomande has a release clause worth up to £69m but Palace value the Ivory Coast international in the region of £40m - though they would be prepared to go north of that figure in what could prove to be a club-record deal.
