Pixie Lott 'juggling a lot' as she opens up about toughest part of pregnancy

Pixie Lott struggled to balance work and family life due to severe sickness during the first trimester of her second pregnancy. The 34-year-old singer and her husband, Oliver Cheshire, 37, who share two-year-old Albert, are expecting their second child together after tying the knot in 2022.

She made the pregnancy announcement while performing at the Mighty Hoopla Festival at Brockwell Park, London, in June. Pixie told fans: "I'm having another baby!" The star had thousands of fans packed close to the stage to watch her performance on the Hayu Arena stage when she dropped the huge news.

Pixie later took to her Instagram to confirm the news as she posed outside her dressing room.

She sang along to one of her songs with the lyrics: "I'm over caring what the weirdos think of me, leave it all behind, it's a projection of their insecurities, I just cut the ties, I'm a mother, of another," as she exposed her bump.

And now, as her due date inches closer, the star opened up about struggling with severe sickness during her first trimester.

She told the Daily Mail: “I felt very sick during my first trimester, and I didn’t have that during my first at all, which was a lot because I was working as well.

“I was juggling a lot. The second trimester I had a lot of energy, and I was playing festivals, so it went by really quickly.”

Pixie added: “Obviously, your body changes so much so it’s been fun dressing my bump. It’s amazing what the human body does to prepare for a life. I feel really lucky because I have been able to perform at the same time."

The singer kept her first pregnancy under wraps until she was 31 weeks pregnant. Taking to Instagram in June of 2023, she showcased her huge baby bump while wearing a black bra and leggings, while Oliver tenderly kissed her bump.

"We are beyond excited to announce we are expecting our first child together and cannot wait to start a family of our own," she said.

She joined the likes of JADE, Ciara, Mutya Buena, Jamelia and The Vengaboys on the line-up of the two-day event.

Pixie and her partner Oliver first met in 2010 at a Select Model catwalk show, before they went on to marry one another in June 2022. Their son, Albert, was born in the following October.
