Strictly's Vito shares clip of age-defying mum who fans say 'looks more like sister'

Vito Coppola has delighted his followers by posting a video on social media - showing a rarely seen prominent figure in his life. The Strictly Come Dancing favourite shared the clip on Instagram, capturing a heartwarming moment in his native Italy. The footage features him and his mum, Rosa, as they prepare Pasta alla Norma, a beloved Sicilian dish featuring eggplant.

Accompanying the video, Vito penned: "Let's cook with mamma Rosa. Watch the full video on my YouTube channel: VITO's WAY and let me know in the comments what do you think. Have you ever tried this pasta? ? What dish would like me to make for you? #loveisthebestingredient."

Fans were quick to engage with the post. And while the pasta looks delicious, many were distracted as they couldn't help but be struck by Rosa's youthful looks.

One fan exclaimed: "Your mum is beautiful, she looks so young", while another remarked: "Your mum? Wow she looks amazing x."

Another Vito follower enthused: "She can't possibly be your mamma... She looks so young! Like, 30 tops!"

A further person agreed, saying: "That lady is not old enough to be your mother @vitocoppola! What do they put in the food in Italy? I'm moving there ASAP if makes me look THAT good!"

Meanwhile, a fourth added: "Your mum is beautiful, I thought she was your sister. She looks very youthful."

Vito is currently touring the nation with fellow dance ace Dianne Buswell, dazzling audiences with their own spectacular show.

The dynamic duo announced in May 2024 that they'd be embarking on a joint tour named 'Dianne and Vito: Red Hot and Ready', brought to you by the creators of the renowned 'Burn The Floor'.

Just last month, some of their Strictly mates were spotted in the audience at London's West End Shaftesbury Theatre, cheering on Vito and Dianne.

More recently, Strictly pro Gorka Marquez and Vito's champion dance partner Ellie Leach caught the show in Manchester.
