Popular BBC drama Beyond Paradise has announced it will be expanding the filming radius for the series - and it could be coming to a town near you, with more locations added to its roster.
As we've previously seen from past series, Shipton Abbott, a fictional town in Devon, has been the home of the much loved programme. As we venture into its fourth series the BBC have confirmed a major location switch up.
Camera crews have already descended into Looe and Pentillie Castle in South East Cornwall. As we have seen in past series both areas have already seen main character Detective Inspector Humphrey Goodman - played by Kris Marshall - and his police colleagues well acquainted with the beautiful rural locations.
However, this time round, the programme's creators have decided to expand their reach and recently have confirmed a number of exciting new locations, including Launceston, Saltash and Tavistock, as we all sit back and patiently await the fourth series.
The Saltash Town Council confirmed to the BBC that some of the locations used for filming include a Churchtown Farm, with hidden allotments close by.
A representative for the council confirmed they'd been working closely with the production team to ensure disruption was kept to a minimum.
A spokesperson said: "We see this as a positive opportunity for Saltash, showcasing our town to a wider audience and supporting the creative industries."
The Saltash Social Club, located on Fore Street also confirmed its doors would be closed on 11 August, due to the venue being used for filming. Other reports have emerged that the Beyond Paradise production teams had been spotted in West Devon Club on Abbey Place, Tavistock.
According to BBC, filming in Looe, the fictional town of Shipton Abbott, will be taking place during a time when many tourists will be exploring the seaside location.
In past episodes, the Sardine Factory restaurant was overhauled to become the famous Ten Mile Kitchen which owner and chef Ben Palmer described had a positive impact on his business.
He told the broadcaster: "Beyond Paradise has had a very positive impact on the town. People are visiting us more here, which is great."
Beyond Paradise is available to stream now on BBC iPlayer.
