As nights start to get shorter and the weathergets chillier, a warm blanket is a must have for the cosy season.
A throw blanket can serve a dual purpose, adding a stylish flair to any room while also lending some extra warmth when it's needed.
Online marketplace Yimbly (owned by Express parent company Reach Plc), offers a blanket that can fulfill both criteria, at a reasonable price.
The Lyndon Company Moorland wool throw blanket usually retails for £120 but thanks to a 70% reduction shoppers can get it for just £35.25. And according to Chronicle Live, it's possible to get it for even less by saving an extra 10% at Yimbly.
By entering code AUTUMN10 at checkout, the price of the throw will drop to £31.73.
The Moorland throw is a jacquard blanket crafted from 100% brushed, yarn-dyed wool. The brushed finish gives the wool a soft feel, while the yarn-dyed process ensures the colours are rich and long-lasting.
Its design, featuring a classic woven country pattern, is versatile and can serve just as well as an extra layer on a bed or a decorative piece draped over a sofa. Soft and naturally breathable, the wool helps regulate temperature.
The blanket comes in three shades - green, burnt orange and natural - and measures 130cm x 170cm, making it a good size for snuggling under.
Shopper reviews online were positive, with one praising its "excellent quality" and saying it "looks designer and expensive."
Another satisfied customer said: "Beautiful soft throw. It looks lovely on my cream sofa". One customer said it was "not as cashmere soft as expected" but still noted that it had an "attractive pattern".
