John Tordoe has been seen on on screen for the first time since he was axed from MasterChef.
The 59-year-old chef was back on television alongside his wife Lisa Faulkner on Saturday (July 19) as they fronted their pre-recorded ITV morning show John and Lisa's Weekend Kitchen.
Lisa kicked off the show saying: "Hi there, we are so happy to see you in our weekend kitchen" before John added: "We're gonna make your day even happier. How do you like the sound of stunning but simple recipes with just homemade ingredients?"
John was dropped from the BBC cooking programme earlier this week after he named himself as"one of the two individuals against whom an allegation has been upheld" during an investigation production company Banijay requested law firm Lewis Silkin undertake which looked into allegations of misconduct surrounding John's co-host Gregg Wallace.
The TV presenter, who had been working on the show for 20 years, denied the upheld allegation. In a statement, he said: "I have absolutely no recollection of any of this, and I do not believe that it happened.
"However, I want to be clear that I've always had the view that any racial language is wholly unacceptable in any environment. I'm shocked and saddened by the allegation as I would never wish to cause anyone any offence."
It was later announced that John's MasterChef would not be renewed and he later released another statement to react to the news.
However, he has since remained silent on the matter and it's been reported the This Morning regular is set to take legal action against the BBC over his sacking.
John and Lisa's Weekend Kitchen returned on ITV1 as usual today after a source confirmed to the Mirrorthat the channel's schedules "remain unchanged" despite John's MasterChef sacking.
The description for the episode reads: "John and Lisa make four mouth-watering dishes with only five main ingredients so we're light on shopping lists but bold on ideas - starting with a garlic and rosemary focaccia that looks so impressive either served up on its own or as a hearty sandwich.
"It's then onto a firm favourite of John and Lisa's with John's pink spaghetti, a tasty pasta dish that is so versatile and so speedy.
"Up next is chicken and peanut butter scissor-cut noodles - with just five main ingredients, children and adults alike will love getting hands-on with the scissor-cut noodles in another speedy yet impressive dish - and last on the show are moreish fuss-free banana doughnuts that easy to make and easy to devour."
