Strictly Come Dancing pro dancer Dianne Buswell, 36, became visibly emotional and her voice cracked as she took to Instagram to give fans an update following her pregnancy announcement on Sunday, September 14. She and partner Joe Sugg announced that they are expecting their first child together on social media, sharing an adorable Instagram video. They added the caption: "Our little baby boy. We cannot wait to meet you." In the heartwarming video, the couple is painting an announcement picture on a canvas. They also added Elton John's Tiny Dancer as background music, and at the end of the footage, the pair turned the canvas around to reveal the year: "2026."

Following up on her big news, which will see her make Strictly history as the first pregnant dancer on the show, she took to the platform for a fresh-faced video where she spoke directly to the camera. "Hello, everyone. I just wanted to jump on here and say a massive thank you to every single person who has sent a message or congratulations," she said.

"I've only just now had the chance to kind of go through most of them, and it's made me so emotional. So thank you so much from the bottom of both Joe and I's heart, really it means so much...it's so kind," she continued.

She went on to tease details of the upcoming series of Strictly, giving an insight into her partner. Although the public doesn't yet know who the stars have been paired with, the reveal show has already been filmed, and she revealed they have begun rehearsals in earnest.

"I had a really good day with my partner," she gushed. "We did our first day of rehearsal today, and he is brilliant. He worked so incredibly hard. And I'm excited for you all to find out who it is.

"So yeah, lots of love. Have a brilliant evening. And once again, honestly, from the bottom of my heart, thank you. Bye, bye," she concluded her clip.

Dianne and YouTuber Joe originally met on the BBC dance competition after being paired together. The pair made it to the 2018 final, but narrowly lost out on the title, which was won by Stacey Dooley and Kevin Clifton, who also went on to become a couple.

Joe had never been in a serious relationship until he met Dianne, but the couple announced their romance shortly after the final. Taking to his official Instagram profile, Joe posted at the time: "I may not have won the Glitterball, but I've won something a million times more special."
