BPSC ASO Recruitment 2025: Notification released at bpsc.bihar.gov.in, registration begins on this date

The Bihar Public Service Commission ( BPSC ) has released the advertisement for recruitment under the Assistant Section Officer (ASO) posts. As per the official notification released, the recruitment drive aims to fill 41 vacancies under the Bihar government. Interested candidates will be able to register online for the same May 29, 2025 onwards.

The registration window for BPSC ASO recruitment will be available at the Commission’s official website, bpsc.bihar.gov.in. Before filling the BPSC application form, candidates are advised to check the minimum eligibility requirements for the ASO recruitment.

The registration window will open on May 29, 2025. Candidates will be able to register online till June 23, 2025.
Who is eligible to apply for BPSC ASO posts?Before filling the application form, candidates should check the following eligibility criteria for BPSC ASO posts:

Age criteria: Candidates should have attained 21 years of age and should not be more than 37 years of age by August 1, 2025.

Upper age limit relaxation for reserved categories of candidates is as mentioned below:

• Backward classes/Other backward classes: 40 years
  
• Unreserved female candidates: 40 years
  
• Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribes: 42 years

BPSC ASO application fee 2025Candidates from outside Bihar, as well as those belonging to SC, ST, or PwD categories (with 40% or more disability), are required to pay a fee of Rs 150. All other candidates must pay a fee of Rs 650.
