Call of Duty reveals everything new coming to Warzone Season 4

Send Push
The countdown to Season 4 of Call of Duty: Warzone is nearly over, and the new content drop is shaping up to be one of the most impactful updates yet. From massive changes to Verdansk’s skyline to the return of fan-favorite modes and inventive gameplay tweaks, there’s a lot packed into this season.
A Towering New Landmark: The OverlookVerdansk has changed again, and it’s hard to miss. The Overlook, a gigantic skyscraper, is now the highest point on the map—easily dwarfing anything else in the city. Replacing several older POIs like Burger Town, the SKN Comm tower, and surrounding tenement buildings, The Overlook adds a vertical twist to combat. Expect rooftop battles, crane climbs, and fast-paced movement using ziplines.

Inside the building, players can navigate multiple floors filled with both tactical potential and loot. The ground floor also introduces new areas like a sushi bar and a relocated Burger Town, helping freshen up familiar locations.

Clash Mode Is Back With a TwistClash Mode makes its return in Season 4, offering 52v52 team deathmatch chaos across Verdansk. But this isn’t just a copy-paste from previous seasons. This time, Clash comes with new features including:

  • Search and Destroy Contracts
  • UAV Towers and SAM Turrets for added intel and anti-air capabilities
  • Door Barricades for defensive plays
  • New power-ups like Speed Boost and Double Down
Add in rotating POIs, in-match events, and accessible loadouts from the start, and Clash becomes the ultimate arena for large-scale action.
Mid-Season Surprise: Havoc RoyaleLater in Season 4, players can dive into Havoc Royale—a limited-time mode that introduces dynamic modifiers to gas circles. Each new circle alters gameplay in real-time, forcing squads to adapt their strategy as the match evolves. It’s chaotic, unpredictable, and designed specifically for Quads. This mode will keep even seasoned players guessing.
Casual-Friendly Resurgence ModeAnother big addition is Resurgence Casual , a more accessible version of the popular mode. It features bot opponents, making it easier for new or returning players to get up to speed without the high stakes. Importantly, it doesn’t impact your progression, so it’s a stress-free way to practice and warm up.

New Killstreaks, Contracts, and Perks DropsSeason 4 also delivers a variety of gameplay enhancements, including:

  • The Care Package Killstreak: Drops a crate full of rare loot mid-match
  • Loot Master Perk: Increases loot quality from caches
  • Return of the Hand Cannon: High-damage, limited-use firepower
  • Expanded Search and Destroy Contracts: Now available in standard Battle Royale, Resurgence, and Plunder
These changes are designed to reward exploration, aggressive play, and smart objective focus.
Call of Duty: Warzone Season 4 goes live on Thursday, May 29, and it's packed with fresh content that promises to shake up the meta. Whether you're diving into The Overlook, grinding Clash, or exploring HavocRoyale’s mayhem, there’s something for every type of player. Stay locked and loaded; Verdansk is changing, and the fight is just getting started.
