Google co-founder Sergey Brin has gifted 4.1 million Alphabet shares worth nearly $700 million as per a regulatory filing. While the regulatory filing does not disclose the details of the recipient, but the shares the shares—split between Class A and Class C stock—could be directed toward charity, financial trusts, or investment vehicles. This is not the first time that Brin has donated such large amount. The Google co-founder also gifted shares worth $600 million in 2023 after Google’s AI search launch. He also donated over $100 million in May and November 2024.
