A man and a woman were arrested by Mumbai Police this week for allegedly attempting to enter Bollywood actor Salman Khan's residence, police confirmed on Thursday.
The accused, identified as Jitendra Kumar Singh (23) and Isha Chhabra (32), made separate attempts to enter Galaxy Apartments in Bandra (West) on Tuesday and Wednesday respectively.
We reached out to Sanjay Marathe, Senior PI of Bandra Police Station, and he told us, "(As claimed by the lady) They don’t know each other. A lot of people try and come to meet him. We didn’t meet Salman. She is still in custody. She just wanted to meet Salman. She has no connection to any other gang. She has no relation. It depends on the court to let her go or not."

As per the reports, Singh, a resident of Chhattisgarh, was first spotted near the actor’s residence around 9:45 a.m. on Tuesday. When a security officer asked him to leave, Singh reportedly smashed his mobile phone in anger. Later that evening, Singh entered Galaxy Apartments by following a car belonging to a resident and was caught again and handed over to Bandra police.
During interrogation, Singh said he wanted to meet Salman Khan and tried to sneak in because police were preventing his entry.
The next day, Chhabra attempted a similar bid at around 3:30 a.m., even reaching the apartment lift before being stopped.
Both have been arrested and cases of trespassing registered against them.
Salman Khan faced a serious security threat on April 14 last year when two men on motorcycles, allegedly linked to the Bishnoi gang, opened fire outside Galaxy Apartments. The attack was later tied to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, which had listed Khan as a primary target due to his 1998 blackbuck hunting incident—an act that deeply offended the Bishnoi community.
Due to these threats, Salman Khan has been provided 'Y-plus' security by Mumbai Police and has upgraded the security measures at his residence.
