X account of Austrian economist blocked on govt prodding

NEW DELHI: Central govt has taken action against Austrian economist Gunther Fehlinger-Jahn, blocking his X account in India due to his controversial statements. Fehlinger had made inflammatory remarks, including calling for the "dismantling of India," criticising PM Narendra Modi, and referring to him as "Russia's man." In his posts, Fehlinger has expressed support for the Khalistan movement. He had also posted a map showing northern and north-western Indian states like Punjab, Delhi, UP and Rajasthan as part of Khalistan" tnn
